EARTH TANKS AND CAMELS Dad built earthtanks. He had a mob of camels. some of us kids were scared of the camels. Someone would sing out "The camels are coming" and we'd run for Mum. Mum always wore an apron. It didn't matter how basic the camp or how far away from other people, she always wore her apron.

We girls used to gather rocks to build play houses. We'd lift up the front of our dresses and carry them in there..like a makeshift basket.

Well that was not much good for the dress and clothes were not so easy to come by so Mum had us in bib and brace overalls pretty quick smart. We made our own fun, we kids had a good life.
